Recommended Browser for use with Blackboard: Mozilla Firefox
Because of numerous issues with Internet Explorer, Chrome and Safari when using Blackboard, particularly in regards to online testing and submission of assignments or files, it is required that you only use Mozilla Firefox with Blackboard. Students are responsible for issues resulting from the use of other browsers.
Windows 10 and Microsoft Edge Internet Browser
Please note that the Microsoft Edge Internet browser that comes with Microsoft's latest operating system Windows 10 has serious compatibility issues and the continued use of Mozilla Firefox is strongly recommended.

Course Availability...Reminder To Instructors

Just a quick reminder to instructors that you control the availability of course sites to students. Prior to making your new course sites available, it is imperative that you make all of your old courses that you no longer use unavailable to students if you have not already done so. To do this, you need to click Customization underneath Control Panel, next click Properties, scroll down to the Set Availablilty section, choose No for the Make Course Available option, then hit your Enter key or click Submit.

Transfer Credit Requests
(Monday, January 6, 2024)
Starting January 2024, all transfer credit requests will be processed through the Registrar's Office.
Please ensure that you provide the required documentation in order for the College to proceed with your request.
1. Course outline of the course you wish to receive credit for
2. Official transcript (unopened)
3. A $25.00 fee per credit transfer evaluation will be assessed, up to a maximum of $100.00 per submission.
Please note that it is important that you do not drop the class you are seeking to gain credit for until you
have been able to verify on your SIS that the request has been processed.

If you are required to submit assignments directly to your instructor by way of email, please ensure that you use your College issued email address. This will ensure that the instructor will receive your submission. Personal email addresses have a potential to be blocked by the College's spam filters.
